Haje Jan Kamps (May 1981) is a Dutch photographer, writer and Journalist. He is best known for running the popular "Photocritic" photography blog, and for writing the book "Macro Photography Photo Workshop". He currently lives in London.

May 21 ,1981 ,Leiderdorp ,South Holland to parents Hielke Kamps and Lizeth Rovers, Haje moved toNorway in 1988, and to theUK in 2001. InEngland , he studied Journalism at [Liverpool John Moores University] , and started a stint working for different magazines.In 2002, Haje started a website called
Photocritic , which became extremely popular in December 2005, when it was featured on Slashdot [http://hardware.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=05/12/12/1725209 1] , and subsequently got heavy coverage on Digg [http://digg.com/tech_news/Make_a_Macro_Lens_from_a_Pringles_Can 2] and dozens of other large blogs.
