Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (Democratic Socialist Party), a minor socialist party in India, mainly active in the northern and central parts of the country. Raghu Thakur is party president. LSP is often involved in "third fronts" in elections.
LSP is opposed to U.S. war on Iraq.
LSP is in favour of giving statehood to Delhi.
LSP should not be confused with Democratic Socialist Party (Prabodh Chandra) or Party of Democratic Socialism (India).
Chattisgarh state president is Javed Usmani.
