Galloway Township Middle School

Overview:

Galloway Township Middle School (GTMS) is a middle school in southern New Jersey. It teaches students from communities to the northwest of Atlantic City.

The school has four teams in seventh grade and four in eighth grade; there are just under a thousand students total. The principal is Dr. Donald Gross.

There is an entire new administration, containing Geoff Haines, Ellen Ward, and Dr. Donald Gross.

"Teams"

The student body of GTMS is divided into eight teams, four in each grade. Each team has specific hallway in which all of its students attend their classes, except for Gym, electives or "specials", foreign languages, and sometimes special education and ESL classes.

School Identity

The mascot of GTMS is Gilbert the Grizzly Bear. There is a wooden statue of Gilbert at the front entrance of the school donated by the Class of 2003. There is also a Gilbert costume that is used by GMTV media club and during School the palm. The school's colors are blue, black and silver.
