Bangor FM, is based in Bangor, County Down and is a short-term radio station in Northern Ireland. Local broadcaster Stuart Robinson was a founding member and now operator of the Bangor radio station.

The radio station transmits usually annually from the heart of Bangor and broadcasts a mixture of music, news and information for a potential audience of over 80,000 adults in the North Down area.

Bangor FM operates on a special short-term licence (RSL) issued by the UK communications regulator 'Ofcom'.

Bangor FM's parent company (Event Radio Services) is also responsible for putting together the Fuse FM RSL stations in Ballymoney, Rathfriland, Ballycarry, Newtownards and Dromore as well as Castle FM based in Carrickfergus and Whitehead station Tune FM.

Young Star Search

Young Star Search run on Bangor FM in 2004, then as a stand alone event in 2005 and then back on Bangor FM in 2006. In 2007 the Bangor Young Star Search ran as a part of a bigger contest on Belfast CityBeat.
