Henry William Lowry-Corry

Colonel Henry William Lowry-Corry DL, JP (30 June 1845 – 6 May 1927) was a British politician.

A younger son of the 3rd Earl Belmore and Emily Louise Shepherd, he was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge, where he graduated with a Master of Arts. Lowry-Corry served in the Coldstream Guards reaching the rank of Colonel. From 1873 to 1880, he was Member of Parliament (MP) for County Tyrone. Lowry-Corry was further Deputy Lieutenant and Justice of Peace for Suffolk.

On 21 September 1876, he married Hon. Blanche Edith Wood, daughter of the 1st Viscount Halifax. They had four children, two sons and two daughters.
