Philippe Dautzenberg (
Elsene ,20 December 1849 -Paris ,9 May 1935 ) was a Belgian malacologist, the branch ofinvertebrate zoology that deals with the study ofmollusk s. He collected a great deal of the shell collection of theRoyal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences , which consists of 9 000 000 specimens and is one of the three biggest shell collections in the world.Collections
