Four Seasons Resort Aviara is a part of the Toronto-based Four Seasons chain of luxury hotels and resorts. It is located just 30 miles north of San Diego, in the heart of Southern California.

History

Completed in 1997, Four Seasons Resort Aviara was designed in Spanish Colonial architecture and set on plateau overlooking the Batiquitos Lagoon and Wildlife Preserve. The resort was constructed with an 18-hole Arnold Palmer-designed golf course and a 15,000-square-foot spa, which was rated a top resort spa by Zagat in 2001 and "Condé Nast Traveler" in 2002. Four Seasons Resort Aviara currently houses 331 guest rooms, including 19 suites.
