Richard Pybus

Born in the North-East of England, Pybus was raised in Australia, attending Normanhurst Boys' High School in Sydney. He played once for the minor county Suffolk in 1986, and once for Worcestershire's 2nd XI in 1990. He turned to coaching in his mid twenties.

He coached Border in South Africa, before twice coaching the Pakistan test team between 1999-2001 and 2003. Following a second spell with Border, he coached Titans between 2005 and 2006/2007.

Pybus was appointed 1st XI coach of Middlesex in February 2007. However, on 17th July, 2007 Middlesex announced he had left the club with immediate effect "for personal reasons."
