The name Adeimantus could refer to several figures in Classical antiquity:

*Adeimantus of Collytus was the name of an elder brother and nephew of Ancient Greek philosopher Plato. Plato mentions his nephew in his will, [ [http://classicpersuasion.org/pw/diogenes/dlplato.htm Diogenes Laërtius, Life of Plato, III, 41.] ] and his brother in "The Republic".
*Adeimantus of Corinth was a Greek commander at the Battle of Salamis in 480 BC.
*Adeimantus, son of Leucolophides was one of the commanders with Alcibiades in his expedition against Andros in 407 BC.
