Climate neutral

Climate Neutral is the concept of reducing or offsetting any greenhouse gases produced by any entity (individual, business, country, etc.) so as to create a 'neutral' effect on global warming for that entity. The process begins with a determining what your greenhouse gas 'footprint' is. Once greenhouse gas output has been determined, becoming climate neutral is accomplished by a combination of conservation, improved efficiency and purchasing of offsets from off-set companies.Fact|date=January 2008

Projects that are supported by offset companies focus on avoiding, reducing or absorbing greenhouse gases by working on energy efficiency, renewable energy and forest sequestration. Some of the offset companies and organizations include:
