website =Höör is a small town in
Scania , southernSweden and the seat ofHöör Municipality ,Skåne County . It has a population of about 7,400, about the half of the municipal total of 14,800.The unusual spelling with double "ö", was implemented by the Swedish postal service in the beginning of the 20th century. At that time it was common that, on local letters, the place of destination was replaced by the word "Här" (sw. for "here"). In order to avoid confusion the spelling of the name Hör was therefore changed to Höör.
The train station in
Höör is located on the line fromKristianstad toMalmö , making it quick and easy to commute. Also basically situated through the town is a large road leading north and south.References
