Pandareus

Pandareus

In Greek mythology, Pandareus (Πανδαρεύς) was the son of Clymene and Merops. His residence was given as either Ephesus or Miletus. At the request of his friend, Tantalus, Pandareus stole a bronze dog from a temple to Zeus on Crete. According to various sources, he was turned to stone or fled to Sicily.

He was the father of Aedon.
