Sunčane Skale

Sunčane Skale is a pop music festival held every summer in Herceg Novi, Montenegro. The festival first began in 1996. ProMonte has been the sponsor of Sunčane Skale for 10 years so far.

The Festival

The festival lasts for three days. Day 1 is where the award "Prinčeva nagrada" ("Prince's award") is given out to singers who won a nomination in a certain category. Day 2 is when the festival introduces new talent into the world, also called "Nove zvijezde" ("New stars"). Day 3 is when singers sing a song and if it wins, it becomes the song of the summer ("Pjesma ljeta").
