EnergyCAP

EnergyCAP is a class of software products used for tracking, managing, processing, reporting and analyzing utility bills and energy information. EnergyCAP is most applicable to organizations that receive over 100 utility bills a month and manage over one million sq ft of facilities. The cost avoidance calculation engine of EnergyCAP complies with the U.S. Department of Energy's standard for energy performance measurement and verification ("m&v") called the IPMVP. This international guideline is available from a non-profit organization called the Efficiency Valuation Organization. EnergyCAP replaced its predecessor, FASER Energy Accounting, that was developed in the early 1980's and has been recently retired.

Energy Efficiency Software (also called Energy Accounting Software, Energy Information Software, Energy Tracking Software and Utility Bill Management Software) is used by business, government and educational organizations that operate from dozens to hundreds or thousands of buildings. Energy Efficiency Software records monthly utility bills; automatically audits them to spot billing, metering or consumption problems; prepares a variety of management and analysis reports; and helps to ensure overall organizational energy efficiency.
