London Greek Radio is an Independent Local Radio station set up by London's sizable Greek Cypriot community. It transmits programs both in Greek and English. It also rebroadcasts news from the CyBC.

It is currently based in Finchley a North London suburb.

LGR has also recently increased its English air-time due to a lack of young Greek-Londoners listening, particularly in the evenings as part of their "New Generation" scheme. Whether this has worked or not is uncertain.

The station tends to play music by Greek or Cypriot artists instead of English ones. They also run a dating service for Greeks in London searching for other Greeks, which is visible on their website [http://www.lgr.co.uk] . Most advertising is in the Greek language, and is by small Greek-run businesses in North London, particularly centering around Palmers Green and the Green Lanes area.
