"Demonic" is a death metal/thrash metal album by Testament, released in 1997. This album sees the band experimenting more with death metal and groove heavy rhythms, making this album one of their most intense. The lyrics also deal with occult themes more like their 80's efforts instead of the politic aspects. The album was originally to be recorded under the name "Dog Faced Gods" instead of Testament but due to record company pressures it became a Testament album.
