Edward Joseph Onslow (
February 17 ,1893 —May 8 ,1981 ) was afirst baseman in [{United States|American]Major League Baseball . He played for theDetroit Tigers (1912-13),Cleveland Indians (1918) and Washington Senators (1927). Born inMeadville, Pennsylvania , he was the younger brother ofJack Onslow , acatcher , manager, coach, and scout in the major leagues for many years.In 4 seasons he played in 64 Games and had 207 At Bats, 19 Runs, 48 Hits, 3 Doubles, 2 Triples, 1 Home Run, 22 RBI, 4 Stolen Bases, 9 Walks, .232 Batting Average, .271 On-base percentage, .280 Slugging Percentage, 58 Total Bases and 4 Sacrifice Hits.
