Canadian Gwen and Irish Findabhair are cousins who share a deep love of Irish mythology. Since their youth they have tried to find a doorway to another world. Now sixteen, they travel to Tara, the ancient seat of the High Kings in Ireland in search of adventure.
The cousins challenge an ancient law by sleeping in a fairy mound. The next morning Gwen awakens to find Findabhair gone - stolen by the fairies. Now alone, Gwen must match her wits against those of a mischevious, immortal race, in an effort to save herself and her cousin from the land of Faerie.
