Sheikh Ul Alam International Airport is an airport in Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, India airport codes|SXR|VISR.

It has been named after one of the greatest saints of Kashmir, Sheikh Noor-ud-din Noorani, fondly known to Kashmiris as Sheikh-ul-Alam.

Currently the airport is undergoing extensive renovations which are expected to be completed by the end of 2008. These include improving the runway, a new terminal for departure and arrival, air bridges and other opeartional facilities. Once ready, the airport will be able to handle many more passengers. It is also anticipated that regular international flights will operate out of Srinagar. At present, international flights operate only to carry passengers on Hajj pilgrimage to Jeddah.
