Robert Smith (Born January 16, 1974 in
Captain Cook, Hawaii ), is a professional bowler and a member of theProfessional Bowlers Association . A seven-time titleist, he is considered by many to be the world's most powerful bowler, and also has one of highest rev-rates on tour. After deferring his 2006-07 exemption and missing almost the entire season due to hip and back injuries, Smith returned in the fall of the 2007-08 season to win the CLR Windy City Classic. Through the end of 2007-08, he has earned almost $750,000 in PBA events during his career. Even with the injury-shortened 2006-07 season, Smith has made at least one TV finals appearance in each of his 10 seasons on tour. He has 30 career 300 games in PBA competition.
