Gerard Macioce

Gerard E. Macioce, D.Sc (born August 30, 1965), commonly known as Jerry Macioce, is one of the leading experts in the field of organizational leadership and business processes used by the United States federal organizations.

Dr. Macioce is also the author of "An analysis of process improvement methodologies used by United States federal government information systems programs" and the creator of the Statistical Methodology Analysis Reporting Technique (SMART), used for organization's information systems performance monitoring platforms. His research in the area of developing and improving business processes for the federal government has led to improved management of government organizations.

Macioce earned a Bachelor of Science, Master of Business Administration, Master of Science, and a Doctorate of Science.

He was instrumental for the restructuring of the Pentagon's network infrastructure following September 11, 2001 terrorist attack. His previous research and practical experiences include supporting Departments of Defense, Health and Human Services, Interior, and State. According to Unisys Corporation, Dr. Macioce is currently the Director of Federal Programs supporting the Department of Homeland Security and the Transportation Security Administration.
