description=The badge is a sampaguita wreath in circular pattern with tip leaves meeting at the top of the badge. It superimposes a bolo and a spear that cross each other. A golden scroll rests on the sampaguita all the way from the left and right bases, with an inscription "Pagsisiyasat", "Katarungan", "Pagsusuri".
The spear represents power and authority; the bolo stands for industry and labor; and the sampaguita wreath symbolizes purity, honesty, and integrity. The blades portion depicts cutting of red tape in the accomplishment of IGS tasks.
