Loyal Garner

Loyal Garner (1946 - 2001) was a Hawaiian musician and de factor leader of the Hawaiian singing group Local Divas. [http://starbulletin.com/2001/11/27/features/story1.html "Loyal Divas"] ]

Her hits included "Shave Ice" from the album "Island Feelings" and "Blind Man in the Bleachers," from her eponymous debut.

In 2007 the Hawaii Academy of Recording Artists awarded Garner with a posthumous Na Hoku Hanohano Lifetime Achievement Award.
