Sonora to a circus trapeze family that became famous in theRingling Brothers Circus . He began appearing in the circus at 7 1/2 months when his father, Edward, a flyer, balanced him on his hand for the opening act.In 1928 Codona married aerialist
Lillian Leitzel , who died in 1931. Codona later married another performer,Vera Bruce . He was featured in the 1932 film "Swing High", and was stunt double forJohnny Weissmuller in the 1934 film "Tarzan and His Mate ".Codona committed
