David Kmiecik is an American born sports anchor from the suburbs of
Chicago, IL . He graduated fromCarl Sandburg High School inOrland Park, IL in the year 1999. While growing up, David was (and still is) aChicago Cubs fan and aGreen Bay Packers fan. He has openly admitted that he has a man crush on Packer quarterbackBrett Favre . Kmiecik also has publicly admitted he will cry the day that Favre finally hangs it up.After high school, Kmiecik continued his education at
Marquette University inMilwaukee, WI . While at Marquette he studied Broadcast and Electronic Communication and Criminal and Law Studies. Kmiecik also became enamored with a new athlete working his way to superstardom.Dwyane Wade led theMarquette Golden Eagles to its firstFinal Four appearance since 1977 and David developed a special place in his heart for D-Wade. Even though both have left Marquette, Kmiecik still holds Wade in very high regard, and David would like to hope the fondness is mutual. In the summer of 2007 David was offered a similar position atWMTV in Madison, Wisconsin, which he accepted. In July 2007, David left Eau Claire and re-planted his roots in Madison. David lives alone, in a cold, one-room, solitary apartment on Madison’s north side.
