Eric Walter Nixon (born October 4, 1962 in Manchester) is a former English goalkeeper. His career spanned 22 years, thirteen of which were spent at Tranmere Rovers. He played for thirteen different clubs and made over 500 league appearances before his retirement in 2004. He ran a health and fitness studio with his wife, Rachel, in Prenton, on the Wirral Peninsula, before moving to Dubai, where he works as a personal fitness trainer.

In the 1986-87 season, he achieved the rare distinctions of playing for a club in all four divisions of the Football League.
