Economic Impact

According to a recent study by Mark Snead and the Oklahoma State University's Center for Applied Economic Research, CKTC has one of the lowest cost per program and cost per student centers in the state, while its graduates report one of the highest average hourly wages among CareerTech graduates in the state. Snead's study also said graduates of CareerTech add about $2 billion to the Oklahoma economy. The income of CareerTech graduates could be expected to grow about 1.25 percent per year compared to a 0.25 percent annual growth for high school graduates without further education.Fact|date=November 2007
