ParlQuest

ParlQuest is a software system designed for parliamentarians.

The word "ParlQuest" is a combination of parliamentarian and questions.

Parliamentarians in the United States are individuals who assist the chairman with the conduct of a meeting. The most common parliamentary reference is in the latest edition of Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised, 10th edition (“RONR”).

Anybody can call themselves a parliamentarian. However, there are several certifications for parliamentarians in the United States. The certification is provided by a couple of national non-profit organizations.

The cover to cover analysis of RONR can be time consuming and quite boring. The actual practice as a parliamentarian can be very different. There is a shortage of interactive multiple choice and research test questions for parliamentarians based upon Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised, 10th edition (“RONR”). The certification process, while not mandatory or government ordered, does help individuals to develop the skills necessary to assist with the conduct of a meeting.
