The 2003 Island Games in
Guernsey was the 8th edition in which afootball (soccer) tournament was played in theIsland Games . It was contested by 15 teams and played two stages, the first one on a group basis and the second one in a knockout system.Guernsey won that tournament, and became for the second time Island Games champion.Participants

Rhodes vs. Guernsey was abandoned after 70 minutes after Rhodes were reduced to 6 players. Guernsey were leading 2-1 at the time. Subsequently Rhodes withdrew from the tournament.
