rock music , and aiming to highlight "underground" lifestyles and artists. It broadcasts on Sky Digital ch. 378, and also streams content online. Officially it is only on the air from 6pm until the early morning, although previews run during the rest of the day (apart from a few hours of "
Teleshopping " programmes), making Rockworld effectively a 24-hour channel.Rockworld broadcasts a large number of recorded
concert s by metal and goth artists such as Machine Head,Nightwish ,Killing Joke ,Electric Eel Shock and Pitchshifter, and also broadcastsinterview s with bands. Some music programmes are filmed at rock festivals such as theBulldog Bash .Non-music programmes include the
anime series "Cromartie High School " and "Gilgamesh", "Dave Vanian 's Dark Screen" (an amateurhorror film showcase) and "Peek-A-Boo", interviews with artists andfetish models. Presenters includeJane Gazzo and Lenore [http://www.lenore.org.uk/] .Rockworld TV replaced Redemption TV, which broadcast during the evening/late night on the now-defunct Musicians Channel (also ch. 368) in 2005. Any websites linking to Redemption TV (which previously had a sizeable website) now redirect to rockworld.tv.
In the Live coverage of The Holloways gig at the Oxford Academy, being shown on Rockworld.TV, Rob Skipper doesn't sing. This is due to the fact he was suffering with tonsillitis but he didn't want to cancel the show so Alfie sang his parts so the fans wouldn't miss out.
