Helping Stephen
Along with John and Kenny, Carol had been monitoring Stephen, as he had been unconsciously tuning into their thoughts, via his
telepathy . When Stephen collapses and is taken tohospital , John sends Carol to help him "breakout". Carol appears in Stephen's room and begins explaining about the voices he has been hearing, and that he is part of a new stage inhuman evolution . She tells him that he is "Homo superior", a Tomorrow Person, and that this new species of humans have special powers and are unable to unintentionally kill. After telling Stephen some more about the Tomorrow People she prepares to leave, but two men enter the room and tell her that Stephen is to be prepped for an operation. Carol says she doesn't believe them and tells Stephen to escape, in the struggle both Carol and Stephen are hit by stun guns. Carol is able to retrieve an amulet from one of the men before she is hit. When John loses telepathic contact with Carol he jaunts to the hospital to find herunconscious on the floor. He picks her up and TIM jaunts them back to The Lab.
