Margaret F. Delisle (born
July 4 ,1946 inQuébec City ) is a politician inQuebec ,Canada .She was a member of the National Assembly (MNA) in theNational Assembly of Quebec for theconstituency of Jean-Talon. She was first elected in 1994, and sat as a member of theParti libéral du Québec . She was named minister for youth protection and rehabilitation (ministre déléguée à la Protection de la jeunesse et à la Réadaptation) on February 18, 2005. She is a graduate ofUniversité Laval , and worked as a teacher before entering politics. She is the sister of Conservative SenatorMichael Fortier .In 1982, while still working as a teacher, she was elected as a member of the city council of the former city of Sillery (now part of
Quebec City ), and became mayor of Sillery in 1985.
