The Ottawa Gaels Gaelic football Club are a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Ottawa dedicated to the promotion and development of Gaelic football in the Canadian capital. The club was established in 1975.

The Ottawa Gaels are affiliated with the Toronto GAA, where they play in both men's and ladies senior competition. The league is made up of 8 teams from Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal, and the season runs from May to September. The teams train and play matches at a field just off Hunt Club and Riverside [Directions].

Ottawa have an unusually high number of left-handed club members, leading to 'sinister' jibes from rival clubs.

The Gaels recently voted ex-player Doug O'Connor as 'Most Valuable Attacking Right-Half Back (MVARHB) 1995-2005', pipping club stalwart's Peter 'Happy P' Connaughton and Pat Kelly to the honour. Doug is ambidextrous.
