Bombalurina (cat)

Bombalurina is a Jellicle from Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Cats." She's a flirtatious red Queen with a white chest and black spots.

Bombalurina plays a large role in the musical, dancing and singing several solo and duet parts. She sings "The Gumbie Cat" with Demeter and Jellylorum, "Grizabella the Glamour Cat" with Demeter again, and "Bustopher Jones" with Jennyanydots and Jellylorum. Her biggest part is "Macavity", which she sings with Demeter towards the end of the musical.

It is not known whether Demeter is her sister or if they are just close friends. She is extremely flirtatious to many toms including Alonzo and Rum Tum Tugger. She is especially flirts with Tugger who rejects her during his number, but later dances with her at the ball.

At first Bombalurina doesnt accept Grizabella but later she finally accepts her.

In the film version Bombalurina is portrayed by Rosemarie Ford.
