Jet from London formed in 1974. Members were Andy Ellison (vocals, ex-John's Children), Martin Gordon (bass, ex-Sparks), Chris Townson (drums, formerly in John's Children and Jook), David O'List (lead guitar, ex-The Nice) and Peter Oxendale (keyboards). They released one eponymous album in 1975, that was produced by Roy Thomas Baker. Dropped by the record label in 1976, they moved to Chiswick Records, changed their name to Radio Stars in 1977 and the rest is history.
