Scarab Studio is an Australian film and video production company based in Melbourne, Australia. Scarab Studio started with the implementation and execution of a month long public art intervention in Brunswick Street, Fitzroy, known as the Scarab Window. They hung a data projector in a plastic cat box from the eave of an upstairs window and had it spit video art, poetry, photography, illustration and painting onto a giant wall, creating a crack in the suburbs commercial urban fabric. They work in Richmond, Victoria with lots of indoor plants.
