Jo Gibb (born JoAnn Gibb on
April 18 1976 , inBo'ness ,Scotland ,UK ) is a Scottish theatre actress best known for her role ofRumpleteazer in the "Cats " video and asPearl the Observation Car in "Starlight Express ". She also played Belle in "Beauty and the Beast" and appeared in the "Rocky Horror Show".Jo first began her training at
The Dance School of Scotland inGlasgow , then continuing inEpsom atLaine Theatre Arts .Her first appearance in a
London West End show was at theNew London Theatre playingRumpleteazer in Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical "Cats". She also understudied and played the roles of Demeter and Jemima in that same production. Later she was offered the role ofRumpleteazer in a video production of "Cats".Some of her other theatre work includes Dance Captain/Swing on "
Disney's Beauty and the Beast ", at theDominion Theatre , London; Columbia in the national tour of "The Rocky Horror Show "; and Pearl, in the final cast of "Starlight Express " at theApollo Theatre , Victoria.Jo recently appeared as Hell Let Loose and Rosalind in "
