Flair Hotels

Flair Hotels e.V. is an international operating hotel cooperation. The association was founded as a cooperation of "family friendly", "family owned", and "family led" hotels. Soon after its foundation, the co-op expanded not only within Germany, but also to neighboring countries such as Austria, France, Italy, and in Switzerland.
Today (as of 2007) approx. 140 hotels belong to the cooperation.

Company's history

*1983: Hotelier Josef Kieser Sr. and some befriended hoteliers from the Franken region in Germany established the cooperation. During the same year, the cooperation expanded throughout Germany, thus establishing a German-wide hotel chain.
*1990: after the "Re-unification" of Germany, lots of hotels from East Germany joined.
*1993: first Austrian Flair Hotels joined
*1996: first Italian Flair Hotel
*2000: first French Flair Hotel
*2004: first Swiss Flair Hotel
