United Kingdom Independent Local Radio station broadcasting to mid-easternEssex originally fromChelmsford , although in August 2006 the station moved to brand new studios 10 miles east of Chelmsford in Heybridge, Maldon, and the station is now possibly moving to studios on Southend seafront, shared with Southend Radio.It began as "Chelmer FM", owned by Mid Essex Radio Ltd. In September 2001, it was bought by Tindle Radio Ltd. It became Dream 107 on February 14th 2002. In March 2002, the transmitter moved from Danbury (on the A414) to a site on a mobile phone mast at Church Green in the same village. This transmitter also carries
digital radio .In September 2008 the station was sold by Tindle to Adventure Radio who also run Southend Radio. Ofcom have given approval for Dream 107.7 to move to the Southend studio complex as its only 20 miles from Chelmsford.
