Albert Risso was the first president of the Association for the Advancement of Civil Rights (AACR) [http://www.petportraits.org/support_gibraltar.htm] In Gibraltar. On the 22nd February 2005 it was announced that a proposed Senior Citizens building on the Edinburgh Estate in Gibraltar was to be named Albert Risso House [ [http://www.gibraltar.gov.gi/latest_news/press_releases/2005/34-2005.htm Government of GibraltarPress Office ] ]
