One season later (2006-2007),Selkirk College replacedUniversity of Northern British Columbia ; however, it is rumored thatUniversity of Northern British Columbia may rejoin the league for the 2008-2009 season. It is also speculated that teams fromUniversity of British Columbia Okanagan andThompson Rivers University may be joining the BCIHL.Each team plays each other throughout the season four times, twice at home and twice on the road.
