Herbert Horne

Herbert Percy Horne (born 1864 in London [ [http://www.aim25.ac.uk/cgi-bin/frames/fulldesc?inst_id=108&coll_id=8618 AIM25: Warburg Institute: HORNE, Herbert Percy (1864-1916) ] at www.aim25.ac.uk] - died 1916 in Florence, Italy) was an English poet, architect, typographer and designer, art historian and antiquarian. He was an associate of the Rhymer's Club in London. He edited the magazines "The Century Guild Hobby Horse" and "The Hobby Horse" for the Century Guild.

Later in life he moved to Italy. He donated his collection, of arts and handicrafts of the 14th and 15th centuries, to create the "Museo della Fondazione Horne" in Florence, where he died.
