Dave Bossert

David A. Bossert is the Creative Director and Head of Special Projects at Walt Disney Animation Studios. He studied at the Character Animation program at CalArts. Among his classmates were Joe Ranft, Butch Hartman, Ralph Eggleston, and Ann Telnaes, among others.

In addition to his duties at the Special projects, he is the is also producer-director at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Previously, he was the artistic coordinator and visual effects supervisor on Fantasia 2000 and, more recently, the associate producer of the short Destino.

He is the immediate past president of the Alumni Association at CalArts, but remains active on the CalArts Board of Trustees.
