The Baikushev's Pine ( _bg. Байкушевата мура) is a coniferous tree from the species
Bosnian Pine ("Pinus heldreichii") situated inPirin , southwesternBulgaria . It is called after his discoverer the forest-guard Baikushev. It is located close to theBanderitsa refuge on the road betweenBansko andVihren refuge . The tree dates from more than 1,300 years which makes it one of the oldest in the country and contemporary of modern Bulgaria's first Khan,Asparukh .
