While she starred in over 25 films between the years of 1955 and 1968, Audret's success never crossed over internationally, despite a striking resemblance to
Audrey Hepburn and a similar acting style. Her career in film, television, stage and music stayed inFrance . One of her most high profile films came when she starred oppositeOrson Welles in the 1961 film "La Fayette".After the birth of her daughter, in 1966, Pascale put her career on the back burner to raise her child.
Personal life
Audret was married twice, first to actor
Roger Coggio and later to music producer Francis Dreyfus. It was her second marriage that produced her only child, daughter,Julie Dreyfus , now an actress, who starred in the 2003 film "Kill Bill ". Julie's resemblance to her late mother is undeniable.Audret's brother is singer
Hugues Aufray .Death
Audret died in a road accident. She was in the passenger seat of a car being driven by her companion.
