Galsi is a town, police station and Community Development Block in the sadar subdivision of Bardhaman District in West Bengal, India.

Geography

Galsi is located in the laterite plains between Damodar River and Ajay River. In 1996 and 1991, Idrish Mondal of Forward Block defeated Syed Imdad Ali and Champak (both of INC) respectively.
