Femi Oyeniran is a British actor of nigerian descent and grime artist, most famous for his role as Moony in the 2006 film
Kidulthood and it's highly anticipated 2008 sequel Adulthood. He is currently at theLondon School of Economics (LSE) studying for a degree inLaw , graduating 2008. In his younger years he attended St Aloysius School inIslington , North London. His new grime single is out nationwide now.The track is called 'I'm that guy'. The name Femi Oyeniran undertakes is blazay.Blazay is better known as Femi Oyeniran. Oyeniran plays one of the leading roles in Noel Clarke and Menhaj Huda’s award winning movie “Kidulthood”. He is also in the final year of his Law degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science. His T.V appearances include I.T.V’s “Golden Hour” and Channel 4’s “The Ghost Squad”. His theatre debut at the Hackney Empire in a two-hander called “Basic” was critically-acclaimed, with the Evening Standard describing his performance as “firecracker” and The Stage declaring that he has a “fierce stage presence” and is “100% believable”. He is to appear in the sequel of the movie Kidulthood (Adulthood), which is due for release during the summer of 2008. He continuously appears on news channels including BBC News 24 and Sky News to discuss youth culture in London. He has also appeared on BBC Breakfast to opine on teenage pregnancy. In addition, he has spoken on similar topics on BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme and is a constant guest on the BBC Asian Network. He is heavily involved in an organization called Smart Justice for Young People, which looks at alternative modes of punishing petty crime. This led to him being asked to make a T.V report for BBC2’s “Daily Politics Programme”. In July 2006, he accepted a request to speak alongside David Cameron at a Centre for Social Justice Event. The event was called “Thugs: Beyond Redemption?” at the QEII Conference Centre in Westminster.
