Walter H. Seward (October 13, 1896 – September 14, 2008) was an American supercentenarian who was, at the time of his death, the third-oldest verified man living in the United States, the sixth-oldest man in the world, one of the 30 oldest living people and was the verified oldest recognized living person in New Jersey.

Early life

Seward was raised in Toledo, Ohio, and moved to Vineland, New Jersey, while he was in high school.

He was a 1917 graduate of Rutgers University and a 1924 graduate of Harvard Law School.

Later life

He practiced law through his 90s.

Death
