The Raymond S. and Dorothy N. Moore Foundation is a non-profit organization in North Bonneville, Washington. The Moore Foundation is best known for its "Moore formula" educational concept in homeschooling, consisting of study, manual work and community service. In 2002, the Moore Foundation mourned the passing of Dorothy Moore, who helped to pioneer the concept of homeschooling.
Dr. Raymond S. Moore, author of Better Late than Early, a book that helped launch the modern homeschooling movement in the United States, died on July 13, 2007, at the age of 91.
