Sara Northrup (b. April 8, 1925 in Pasadena, California)Fact|date=January 2008 was the second wife of L. Ron Hubbard, from 1946-1951. Northrup filed for divorce in late 1950, citing that Hubbard was, unknown to her, still married to his first wife at the time he married Sara. Her divorce papers also accused Hubbard of kidnapping their baby daughter Alexis, and of conducting "systematic torture, beatings, strangulations and scientific torture experiments."
